You make me smile

Nathan really started to smile last month. It is the cutest thing. He hasn't started to giggle yet but has gotten close a couple of times.

3 months old

Nathan is now 3 months old. I can't believe how fast time as gone. Some of you know that I started taking pictures of Nathan with a little stuffed monkey when he first came home and continue every month to see how much he has grown. Here they are.

Baby Blessing

We had Nathan's blessing over the 4th of July. It was very touching. I know it was a hard time for many of us with remembering Nate's passing and grieving for the recent loss of Uncle Todd. There were many tears, but the spirit was very strong. We are grateful for our family and friends that were able to attend and thank you for your help.

We feel so blessed to be the parents of this special little boy. He has a very sweet spirit and looking into his eyes you can see that he is a very special child of our Heavenly Father.

Here are some pictures from his blessing.

This is the outfit that Nathan wore. His grandfather Steve Domine was baptized in it as an infant. His great-great grandmother Justine Gerber made the shall and the afghan that he is sleeping on.

Fathers Day

Neal had a nice first fathers day. Nathan slept really good so we were all able to get some good rest. I got some cute pictures of dad and baby together. They had a nice service at church and the men got treats during priesthood that the relife society sister brought.

As I reflected on the influence of the men in our lives I was very grateful for my husband and the wonderful father he is. As well as the other dads and grandfathers in our lives. Thank you all for the love and support you give to us. We love you!

Memorial Day

Over memorial day weekend we took our first out of town trip with Nathan. He did pretty good in the car and slept most of the way. It was quite an experience to pack for a new born and load the car up with all of his things, our things and two dogs for a 7 hour trip. Here are some pictures we took at the Haymore ranch.
